It’s an old saying, but it’s still true.
Don’t judge a book by it’s cover.
A while back, I watched an intro video and thought …
I’m not going to learn anything from this young guy. His hair is a tangle of curls. He keeps clapping his hands. Not like an applause. Just once. It made a sharp sound that kept distracting me from what he was saying. And his language was spiced with words my mother wouldn’t approve.
But, I listened to the whole video. And I’m so glad I did.
I almost made a big mistake. I almost passed up the best marketing training, support and community I’ve ever been a part of.
So, lesson learned. First impressions can be deceiving. Keep your mind and your heart open to new adventure. That young guy with the curly hair has become a mentor to me. He’s learned not to clap all the time. When he speaks now, especially on mindset and personal development, I take lots of notes. As I put them into practice, I’m changing. I’m certainly not the same person I was when I watched that intro video … And neither is he.
If so, I would greatly appreciate it if you comment below and share on Facebook.
